Third Edition of My Father’s House
Friday, July 21st, 2006Finally found time to update my website, www.geocities.com/landdelacruz. Made time because St. Ignatius day is fast approaching and I owe it to the guy and his kampon, the Jesuits to come up with something for that day. Everything in the site, except for What’s in a Name Part III, is on Magis.
The fourth edition will be up soon. Got my inspiration while daydreaming in my PhD class. In that edition, My Sanctuary will finally come to life.
Last night I was thinking, Reindeer Games would be a nice title for an essay on social exclusion. One of the classes I am taking is a class on Bourdieu and it makes me wonder about language games (language broadly defined, i.e. texts) and the "games" people play.
Let me then end my rambling with a tribute to Rudolph, the socially excluded reindeer, "they never let poor Rudolph, join in any reindeer games".
